Welcome to my Video Chief review. I saw this was being released so I thought I would take a look to see whether it’s a scam or legit…
Product: Video Chief
Owner(s): Joshua Zamora
Price: $47 to $67 + OTOs
My Rating: Okay
What is Video Chief?
So this is apparently an easy way to make money from videos. When you join, you get access to a large library of ready-made videos, script template, voiceover templates, etc. He says all you need to do to earn money is to log in, choose your niche, download one of their pre-created videos, then “flip that video for a quick $500 – $1,000 check (or more)”.
What he means by “flip” is to sell these videos. That means you can hire yourself out as a video creator and then just use the videos and templates in Video Chief to create these videos. But also, rather than selling them, you can also use these videos yourself in your own internet marketing campaigns.
One thing that concerns me, though, is the quality of Josh’s own sales video. It’s just him talking along to some text on the screen. There’s nothing revolutionary about that. Surely he could have made a more impressive sales video for a product about videos?
How much does Video Chief cost?
Well, the initial product will cost you between $47 and $67, depending on how quickly you grab it when it launches. However, there are going to be a couple of One Time Offers they will try to get you to buy, as you can see in the following illustration:
So, if you buy both OTOs, you could end up spending a total of $201. This is a bit cheeky really because OTO 1 is Josh’s own video editing software. This seems like an essential part of the product, so it should really have been included in the main product. OTO 2 is his special X Ranker software, which he says can be used to rank the videos as quickly as possible. This means you can get the most from your videos if you use them yourself, or if you sell the videos you can charge for SEO services.
Who is the owner of Video Chief?
Whenever I see that a new product is being released, I like to investigate who is behind it. This helps me put things into some kind of context and gives me a sense of whether the product is likely to be any good.
He has a website called zamuraiblogger.com and lists 3 other products on there:
- Tube Takeover Formula
- Authority SEO Domination
- WP Basic Training
I also found out he has previously released loads of other products:
- Video Traffic Genie
- Smart Video Metrics
- Social Robot Pro
- Zamurai Video Bootcamp
- Targetr Pro
- Video Chief
- Trifecta Ranking System
- Video Synd Alpha
- Amz Edge
- Seamless SEO
- Tube Sniper Pro
- Link Indexr
- Ultimate Spinner Pro
- Zamurai PBN Blueprint
- Seamless Secure
- Article Factory Pro
- Big Content Search
- Blog Fresh Power
- Keyword Demon
- Wiki Robot
- Zamurai List Builder
- YouTube Bully 2 Case Study
- Affiliate Passive Commissions
- X-Ranker 360
- Profit Renegade
WOW! That’s a lot of products he’s launched! But he has been doing this since July 2012 when he released VideoRankr. This in itself doesn’t mean his products are bad quality as such, it just means he is an opportunist who likes to jump on every available opportunity to sell something to people. It could also mean he is very experienced, which could make this latest product high quality.
Complaint on RipOffReport.com
Unfortunately, I did find one complaint about Josh. This doesn’t concern the quality of his products, though, but his relationship with the affiliates that promote his products:
The one thing to keep in mind about ripoff report, though, is that anyone can post a complaint on there. So there is no way of knowing for sure whether this complaint is genuine or not. That being said, there is the ability for people with complaints filed against them to write a rebuttal. Josh has not done this yet, even though this complaint was posted in May 2016.
Is Video Chief a scam?
I don’t think it’s a scam as such, but I would be just a bit cautious about buying something from someone with a complaint against them on Ripoff Report. I’m not saying that complaint is true. I’m just saying be careful.
Should you buy Video Chief?
I am always a bit skeptical about anything that claims making money online is easy. I am also not keen on the idea of using pre-created videos. Why? Because if lots of other people sign up for Video Chief and also use the same videos, it’s all going to look a bit stupid isn’t it?
Do you have a website?
DID YOU KNOW: You can make money from a website about one of your passions or interests? Yes, that’s right, you can. Surely you must have something you are interested in or passionate about? Whatever it is, you can create a high-quality website which really helps people. This builds people’s trust, and then they are more likely to trust the products you recommend.
The best place to learn how to do that is Wealthy Affiliate. The great thing is, you can actually try it out for free. You can do the first 10 lessons and spend a week as a free member. This is the best way to know whether something is for you or not, to actually try it out.
I hope you found this Video Chief review helpful. If you have any comments or questions, why not post them in the comments section below. I will reply as soon as I can.
All the best,
