So, I came across this new product called Social Media Success Blueprint. I have to confess, when I see new products that claim they can show you how to make loads of money, I am naturally skeptical and cautious.
I think this one might be an exception…
The concept is a valid one. It is true that many companies are looking for people to manage their social media accounts. As a member of the exclusive internet marketing community Wealthy Affiliate, I can tell you I know how important social media can be IF USED CORRECTLY.
I can also tell you that I am not a fan of social myself and hardly use it. So although social media is extremely popular and an effective way of communicating with people, there are indeed people like me (and businesses too) that just don’t want to get involved in social media themselves.
Okay, so what’s the deal here?
James says that the real money is not in doing the social media work yourself, but outsourcing it to other people. It looks like it’s a case of paying other people to create the content, then scheduling this content to drip-feed across the social networks. I can see that this is a valid business model.
It’s a form of arbitrage. You buy something at one price and sell it on at a higher price, making money as a middleman. in fact, most businesses are built on the model of buying something (a product or service) at one price and then selling it on to someone else at a higher price. That’s even what happens when you go to your grocery store. They are selling the groceries to you at a higher price than they bought them.
My only question here is how easy it is to find companies that are willing to pay you to manage their social media presence. However, James says he’s got this covered. He has a list of companies that will pay you for this. The only slight doubt I still have there is how easy it is to get accepted by these companies.
But the 7-day trial is only $1, and you can even get this refunded, so there’s actually nothing to lose in finding out, right?
Is Social Media Success Blueprint a scam?
No, I don’t think it is. it’s quite rare for me to say this about new “make money online” products, but this one does look genuine. I could not find any evidence of upsells, which is a usual tactic of most online scams. I also did a reverse image search for one of the testimonials on there (Marouane Bembli), and it turns out it is that person. I even did a bit of research about James Burchill himself, and it turns out he has written books that are listed on Amazon.
So I see nothing scary or scammy here. I would say that the $1 trial makes it worth giving a go.
