Update February 18th, 2016: You can check out my FREE training on how to get traffic from videos.
Video marketing is definitely a great way to promote anything if done correctly. I’m sure there are many novice YouTube marketers out there who are having a go at trying to promote products or services with videos, but are making silly mistakes or just don’t fully understand how best to market via videos. So when a course comes along that claims to be able to show anyone how to get traffic from YouTube, it’s worth taking a look.
What is Tube Traffic Mayhem?
Well, here’s what the dramatic, eye-catching headline at the top of their sales page says:
This is followed by a video that explains how important video marketing is, how YouTube is owned by Google, and that you don’t need to spend lots of money to do effective video marketing.
Further down the page, there is an image showing everything that is included in the course. It looks pretty impressive doesn’t it?
So what does this course claim to teach you? It says it will teach you the following:
- What YouTube traffic is
- Optimizing your video settings
- Keyword research
- Video editing and uploading
- How to optimize your YouTube listing
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Increasing social signals and likes
For only $17, surely it’s worth a shot, right?
Is Tube Traffic Mayhem a Scam?
I have to admit, I was quite pleasantly surprised by this. Often I see something that looks really good and then turns out to be nothing but a big scam. Or sometimes a product will not be an outright scam but will not quite deliver on its promises.
Tube Traffic Mayhem does not show any particular signs of being a scam. Okay, so the name is a bit extreme, with the word “mayhem” in there. That may be a slight exaggeration. While this course on its own is unlikely to totally change your life by skyrocketing your sales to stratospheric heights, it does look legit. If you are a budding internet marketer who is looking to make your first move into video marketing, for $17 it is probably worth a shot.
