So I just saw there is this new product called “Goal Setting to Live a Life of Freedom” by Larry Kearney, so I decided to take a look at it to see what it’s all about:
So, going by the sales page, it seems to be all about setting goals and achieving them. Nothing out of the ordinary there really. In fact, it’s such a normal thing, I’m actually wondering whether someone needs to pay for a guide all about this. Surely there is plenty of free information on the web about goal setting and achieving what you want in life?
Taking a look at the list of things it says it contained in the book, I still think it all seems quite standard. There is nothing that jumps out at me as being revolutionary or “never seen before”. Maybe that’s a good thing, though, because it could mean it’s just a good, standard self-help ebook about setting and achieving goals.
It also comes with some “bonuses”:
Point-by-Point Checklist, so you can check off each point – WOW! (sarcasm)
Resource Cheat Sheet – this gives you a list of top sites, blogs, forums, tools, apps, and services. I can’t help but wonder whether people could just easily find all that themselves if they searched for it, though.
Mindmap – to get a quick visual refresher of the main points from the guide. This is probably quite useful, actually.
But then I come across a contradiction:
It says that you can own the Goal Setting to Live a Life of Freedom for just $7, but then just two sentences later it says “Did I mention this eBook is only $14.99?” Well, please make up your mind, is it $7 or is it $14.95?
Then at the bottom, just above the “Buy Now” button, it states the “Regular Price” of $47, which is crossed out, with “Today: $14.95” written next to it in bright red lettering.
This sales page has clearly been thrown together by an amateur who doesn’t really know what they are doing. Still, we all have to start somewhere, right?
Anyway, here is a video review of it:
One good thing about this ebook is it is MMR, which stands for Master Resell Rights. This means you can sell it as your own product. But do you really want to sell a product created by someone who can’t decide how much it costs?
