Hi, welcome to my FX Trading Advisor review. I just noticed that this service had recently been released, so I thought I would check it out and see whether it is a scam or legit…
Product Name: FX Trading Advisor
Release Date: June 2016
Price: $39/week, $99/month, $249/quarter
Trial Available? 14 days for $1
My Rating: Okay
What is FX Trading Advisor?
So this is actually a forex trading signals service, where they send you emails or phone alerts every day which tells you which way to trade. This sounds like a great deal because it saves you having to worry about making the decisions yourself. Someone tells you how to trade, and you trade like that. Simple, right?
14 Day Trial and Guarantee
You can try their service for 14 days for just $1. Then, if you do decide to go for the full membership, they even have a 60-day money back guarantee, so if you are not happy with the service then you can simply get a refund. But what if it doesn’t work at all? What if you don’t actually make any profit? Well, they say they if you don’t make a profit within your first month then you get the second month for free.
The only problem there is what happens if you also don’t make a profit in your second month? Sure, you can get a refund if it’s still within the first 60 days, but you will have lost the money that you spent on the trades. That’s what concerns me.
Are You Likely to Make a Profit?
They say on their website themselves that only 10-20% of people who try forex trading actually make a consistent profit. But they claim that using their system makes success much more likely. If you look at the 8 months they give figures for, the success rates are:
- September 2015: 100%
- October 2015: 100%
- November 2015: 83%
- December 2015: 72%
- January 2016: 47%
- February 2016: 93%
- March 2016: 84%
- April 2016: 67%
This gives an overall win rate of 81%.
You can try it with a demo account, but anytime I read that you can use a demo account with some kind of trading system, I am a bit skeptical. I always wonder whether a demo account is rigged to make the trades more successful. I don’t know. That could be a totally unfounded suspicion.
For real trading, the minimum you can start with seems to be $100. But what if you don’t have $100 you can afford to lose? I suppose forex trading is not for you then.
- Trend Magic System
- Channel Breakout System
- MACD 2 System
- Stop & Reverse Indicator
- Power Oscillator
- Forex Pattern Alert Indicator
On the surface, this seems great that they are offering so many valuable bonuses along with their service. However, this raises two concerns for me:
- If the trading signal service is so effective, are these additional products actually necessary?
- A person who is totally new to all this might become overwhelmed that there is so much to choose from among the bonuses. Which one do they actually use? Do they use them instead of the trading signal service or alongside it?
Who is it for?
I know this service will seem attractive to those who have never tried forex trading and want to give it a try. It’s possible that it could work very well for that kind of person if the success rate is as good as they claim it is. However, I wonder whether it’s actually better suited to someone that already knows a bit about forex trading and has a bit of trading experience behind them. This could enable them to spot when they should actually ignore the trading advice in their email or phone notification.
So I would say, if you have already done a bit of forex trading and want to take some of the stress out of deciding when to trade, this could be worth a try. Just make sure you have some trading money you can afford to play with. Don’t spend the last of your savings on this service and your trading budget.
Is FX Trading Advisor a Scam?
No, I don’t think it is a scam. I cannot see any obvious signs that would indicate it is a scam. That being said, I would advise you to proceed with caution because Forex trading is a risky thing to do. If you are new to all this and don’t have spare money to invest, it’s probably best tot stay away. If you have a bit of money to play with, why not give it a shot.
